GL-136 GL-136-01 2020-02-25 Lab Tested Lab I tested this sensor in the lab and could not get it to work. I used the current-to-voltage board provided with the sensor connected to a CR1000. I also connected a multimeter in place of the current-to-voltage board to measure the current. Both setups showed no response even when dunking the sensor in about 1.5m pipe filled with water. I recommend disposal.

FMA RMT-200 08-0114 2020-02-25 Lab Maintenance Lab We set this analyzer up after many years of sitting idle. It seemed to run okay in slow flow but the cell pressure dropped to near zero. I removed the internal 2um filter and it tested okay (easy to blow through). I ended up swapping it with another because it had been installed backwards (not that I'm sure that makes a difference) and it was easier change fittings on the other one. I blew the new filter out with air from the bench before installing. Notes indicated this analyzer had low pressure last time it was used. We swapped the pressure controller with the one from the other LGR which has a broken laser. This got the system working with 148Torr pressure and a 14us ring time. Running an AMP cal gas of 3.121ppm CH4, the analyzer agreed within +-1ppb.

PA-II-SD 68c63acc07a9 2020-02-19 Lab Maintenance Lab This sensor got wet when the tower fell down. I took it apart and discovered that only the real time clock board with battery looked corroded. The sensor ran well without the RTC battery - both particle counters agreed. And the sensor compared well with the new one running side by side. I bought a new RTC board that needed to be modified - a pin header on one side of the board was removed and a diode that enabled charging of the battery needed to be remove since standard coin cells are not rechargeable. After reassembly it ran well and was able to connect with the PurpleAir web site getting its clock reset and running firmware v4.11
