Summary: Standard fieldwork, swapped 7500, swapped BF3 desiccant

Siyan, Ray, Sunny and I arrive at about 10:30. Siyanâ€™s family was only a few minutes ahead of me. It was warm, clean and sunny with a nice breeze. The grass is largely yellow with lots of foxtails but still a few greenish patches. The trees look good and the water hole is still mostly full.

I swapped the 7500 â€“ sn 0073 came off and sn 75H-2669 went on.
0073: 412.2ppm CO2, 359.3mmol/m3 H2O, 99.4kPa, 25.1C, 99.7SS
2669: 431.4ppm CO2, 282.6mmol/m3 H2O, 99.4kPa, 25.4C, 101.2SS
I updated the pressure coefficients and reset the box.

I put new desiccant in the BF3 but it looked very dry inside already.

I collected the FD chamber data and cleared its memory. Might be getting too hot for it soon.

Siyan and Sunny did well depth, soil moisture and clip plots. The old Ocean Optics spectrometer software hung up and crashed â€“ maybe bad cable connection. I had the Jaz with me but forgot to take readings with it.

We left at about 12:00
