5234 2021-04-13 Lab none Tested Lab none Sensor does not turn on. Tried connecting to it in the lab using both the lab cable and the field cable. With the field cable, I tried both 12V and 24V. There was a flash of some LEDs when I was disconnecting the 12V wire, but I couldn't replicate it.
5053 2021-01-17 Mayberry Fluorometer Removed Lab none Removed from MB and brought back to the lab for further testing b/c it has noisy data
4939 2020-10-22 Mayberry Fluorometer Maintenance Mayberry Fluorometer Replaced all 3 brushes. One brush had splayed needles that blocked one of the lenses (the lens with the visible red light)
4740 2020-09-10 Lab none Installed Mayberry Fluorometer Reinstalled after thorough cleaning in the lab.
4717 2020-08-28 Mayberry Fluorometer Removed Lab none Removed from MB floating boom and brought back to lab for a thorough cleaning
4716 2020-06-16 Lab none Installed Mayberry Fluorometer Installed on MB floating boom. The power wires are backwards-- Black is +12V and white is G.
4525 2020-06-15 Lab none Maintenance Lab none I set the unit up to log data. The data logging interval is 30sec and the wiper does 2 revolutions. The logging interval limits the number of wiper revolutions but doesn't seem to affect the data output on the serial line which seems to be 1Hz.
4521 2020-06-11 Lab none Tested Lab none I plugged in the fluorometer in the lab with the manufacturer supplied power supply and serial cable. The unit seems to be working and using less than 3.4A at 12V supplied by the power supply. I'm wondering if there is some short in the cable in the field. The unit also needs its wiper and data output set up before it can be used in the field.
4439 2020-04-30 Factory none Returned Lab none Returned from repair and upgrade at Turner. The blue excitation for chlorophyll was replaced with a red excitation.
4417 2020-03-23 Lab none Shipped Factory none Shipped back to Turner to swap the chlorophyll lamp from blue excitation to red excitation. However with the current shelter-in-place orders, we're not sure when they will be able to work on the unit.
4416 2020-03-23 Factory none Received Lab none Repaired at the factory and received back on campus, but Joe will be sending it back to Turner for a chlorophyll lamp upgrade.
4415 2020-03-05 Lab none Shipped Factory none Shipped back to Turner for repair. We did not see the CDOM UV light source (should show up as a blue light on a piece of white paper), and there was condensation/gunk inside one of the CDOM windows.
4388 2020-02-20 Mayberry Fluorometer Removed Lab none Removed from MB and brought back to the lab because its CDOM doesn't seem to be responding and it needs a good cleaning.
3995 2019-06-04 Lab none Installed Mayberry Fluorometer Installed at MB after a thorough cleaning in the lab.
3993 2019-05-31 Mayberry Fluorometer Removed Lab none Removed from the tower for a thorough cleaning in the lab.
3994 2019-02-28 Lab none Installed Mayberry Fluorometer Reinstalled after a thorough cleaning and getting new brushes in the lab.
3892 2019-02-22 Mayberry Fluorometer Removed Lab none Removed from MB and brought back to the lab to swap out its brushes and other maintenace.
3326 2017-03-29 Lab none Installed Mayberry Fluorometer Installed at MB on the water sensor boom. It is at ?? depth below the water surface, about level with the top miniDOT DO and eosense CO2 sensors.
