The screen on this unit seemed to be black but at an extreme viewing angle the text could be seen on top of solid dark LCD boxes. It seems to be intermittent and not controllable with the LCD back light and contrast controls. I updated the firmware to v1856. v1864 is the newest firmware, but I could not get it to load that version. I also set it up to spit out serial data at 57600 baud but still haven't figured out how to decode it. |
