I removed the internal 2um filter and it tested okay (easy to blow through). I ended up swapping it with another because it had been installed backwards (not that I'm sure that makes a difference) and it was easier change fittings on the other one. I blew the new filter out with air from the bench before installing. Notes indicated this analyzer had low pressure last time it was used. We swapped the pressure controller with the one from the other LGR which has a broken laser. This got the system working with 148Torr pressure and a 14us ring time. Running an AMP cal gas of 3.121ppm CH4, the analyzer agreed within +-1ppb. |

I took it apart and discovered that only the real time clock board with battery looked corroded. The sensor ran well without the RTC battery - both particle counters agreed. And the sensor compared well with the new one running side by side. I bought a new RTC board that needed to be modified - a pin header on one side of the board was removed and a diode that enabled charging of the battery needed to be remove since standard coin cells are not rechargeable. After reassembly it ran well and was able to connect with the PurpleAir web site getting its clock reset and running firmware v4.11 |

After putting in fresh chemicals I flushed the body with zero air before sealing it up. The zeros immediately fell by about halt to ~23ppm CO2 and ~30umol/m3. I left the IRGA running and will try to calibrate late tomorrow for field installation the next day. |
