I arrived at 16:00 PDT. It was breezy and mild, and there was a long layer of fog over Mt. Diablo and the hills next to it. The alfalfa has been mowed but not raked yet. I trimmed the alfalfa under the tower and under the 2 Arable posts. The alfalfa was about 5-10cm tall

I downloaded met, camera, USB GHG, and FD data. I cleared the FD chambers after download. I cleaned flux and rad sensors. The wash reservoir was full. I tilted the camera down so it would see more ground than sky.

I installed a pair of Apogee NDVI sensors on the rad boom. Sn 1049 was installed in the incoming position and sn 1050 was installed in the outgoing position. I wired it to the same C port as the Decagon SRS sensors, which I think is C7. After uploading an updated CR1000 program, NDVI_in read 0.75 and NDVI_out read 0.13.

The undercanopy PAR sensor looked ok, but it was right next to a stack of drying alfalfa. I reinstalled it in the same place with the PVC collar in the correct orientation (I installed it upside down last time) and buried the condit-clad cable a few cm underground.

CO2 399ppm
H2O 690ppm
T 31.1C
P 101.1kPa
SS 102--> 102 after cleaning
LI7700 readings:
CH4 1.89ppm
RSSI 37-->77 after cleaning

I left at 18:05 PDT.
