Summary: Hot and Dry, Standard fieldwork, went to the pond, swapped positions of "cal" PAR sensors

Siyan and Sunny, and Kyoko, Hisashi and I all arrived at 10:00 in two cars. It was hot sunny and dry. Thereâ€™s still a little water in the water hole. My family went to the pond. The stream was dry across the road and the pond level was 15.46ft. I cleaned the solar panel and skipped a stone.

Siyan and Sunny did the well, soil moisture and clip plots.

I downloaded the data. All seemed well.
The 7500 read: 409.6ppm CO2, 553.1mmol/m3 H2O, 99.2kPa, 28.9C, 101.8SS

I swapped the positions of the two new â€œcalibrationâ€ PAR sensors: sn 161073 is incoming and sn 140455 is reflected. PAR sn 161073 is the Ameriflux calibration sensor and should not be permanently mounted on the tower. Iâ€™ll have to swap the old PAR sensors one at a time, repair their cables and swap them back in.

I removed the SMA antenna cable from the old radio link to the pond for use at Tonzi.

We left at about 11am
