West Pond
2018-09-18

I arrived at 12:19 with Daphne and Kuno. It was clear, sunny and warm. The inlet was running and the water level was 53.5cm – about normal. There was a helicopter spraying the rice fields probably with something to encourage the rice to dry. There was also a drill rig on the north edge of the rice field possibly putting in a new gas well. Blackberries are ripe.

The 7500 read: 393.8ppm CO2, 660.5mmol/m3 H2O, 23.5C, 101.3kPa, 99.2SS
The 7700 read: 1.97ppm CH4, 50.5RSSI – 74.1 after cleaning
The wash reservoir was nearly full – did not add water.

PAR in had been reading low but looked okay after Kuno cleaned it.

We left at 12:32
