Joe and I arrived at 12:45 PST to the channel. It was mild and partly sunny. We meant to reinstall the ADCP today after repairing the cable break in the lab, but we forgot to bring it today. ALAS. We started driving home from East End but turned around in Antioch to come back as we thought of some tasks that could get done with what we had.

At the channel, I downloaded the CR6 data and removed the EXO for calibration. I unplugged the CR6 power so the EXO cable is not powered. We installed one of our brand-new miniDOTs sn 413106. We put in fresh desiccant and I set its clock (it was 1 second off).

We got to the tower at 13:10 PST. Joe cleaned the solar panels. I set the phenocam clock because it lost its clock when the solar batteries were stolen. When it was 2024-10-16 9:04, I set it to 20214-10-16 13:14 to match the laptop time. The time zone is “UTC-7” which is incorrect, but the phenocam clock jumps one hour if I set the time zone to “UTC -8,” so I just left it as “UTC -7”.

I swapped the camera card. I have been renaming and restamping the phenocam photos to correct their file names and text overlay using Renamer.exe (Actions > Misc > Insert Date, then Trim wrong date) and IrfanView.

I Bluetooth-ed to the Song Meter Micro to check its battery, which was at 25-35% (3.6-37V). The app prompted me to synch the recorder location with my phone.

We left at 13:25 PST.
