Bouldin Corn: 2024-11-19 14:30:00 (DOY 324)
Author: Daphne Szutu
Others: Arman
Summary: Field has been tilled, rad boom was folded in since last visit, storms coming later this week
2024-11-19 Bouldin Corn (Sorghum) Arman and I arrived at 14:30 PST. It was cold, overcast, and breezy. We had some rain last week and storms coming in tomorrow and Friday. There’s an American flag up at the duck club, so the hunters must have arrived for the season. The field has been tilled and Charlotte’s chambers are back in the field. No sign of flooding yet on any nearby field. The radiometer boom has been folded in since our last site visit two weeks ago. The reservoir was 70% full; Arman refilled it and cleaned flux and rad sensors. He also cleaned a little detritus from the rain bucket. I downloaded met, cam, USB GHG, and PA data. I checked the tiedowns and tightened the NW and SE tiedowns (both attached to fence posts). We also removed the upper boardwalk for storm prep. 7500 read: 430ppm CO2, 271mmol/m3 H2O, 13.9C, 101.8kPa, 96SS--100 after cleaning 7700 read: 2.1ppm CH4, 32RSSI – 78 after cleaning We confirmed the radiometer boom was extended and left at 14:45 PST. |
