Summary: Improved picam mount, storms coming later this week
2024-11-19 Mayberry Arman and I arrived at 12:20 PST. It was partly overcast, cold, and still. Our temporary solar panel mount from last time is still holding up fine. We had some rain last week and storms coming in tomorrow and Friday. There was a pile of regurgitated fish scales and fish bones in a pile on the boardwalk. Joe said they probably came from a heron, the same way an owl would produce a pellet. The staff gauge read 54cm. I downloaded met, cam, and USB GHG data. Arman cleaned flux and rad sensors. He said there were some spiderwebs on the 7500. The reservoir was 90% full; he refilled it. I checked the precip bucket; it looked clean. I forgot to measure surface water conductivity. I swapped out the picam mount for a new one that is attached in two places to prevent the camera from tilting. The 7500 read: 419pm CO2, 325mmol/m3 H2O, 13.8C, 101.3kPa, 88SS 7500 cleaned read: 440ppm CO2, 345mmol/m3 H2O, 13.3C, 101.2kPa, 101SS 7700 read: 2.1ppm CH4, 53RSSI – 70 after cleaning We left at 12:55 PST. We removed the top boardwalk for storm prep. |
