Summary: Arrived at about sunset, installed west FD chamber, went to the pond, some new grass deep in the litter, compost amendment in northwest corner of the property.

Kuno and I arrived at about 16:30 PDT. It was cool and partly sunny day although by the time we arrived after a long day to Tonzi, the sun as already setting. The trees here still look mostly green. There has been a little rain in the last week and I could find green sprouts just beginning deep in the litter. Cows have pounded down the area around our tower a bit. It also looks like they spread compost in the northwestern corner of the property as part of the soil amendment program. It will be interesting if we can see a change in the Planet Labs data.

Kuno read the well for me 60.0ft. I collected the flux, met, camera and FD data.
The 7500 read: 423.7ppm CO2, 388.5mmol/m3, 11.1C, 99.4kPa, 97.3SS

I installed another FD chamber sn 20180026 in the west location. It seemed to be working.

We went to the pond and collected the data there. The top portion of the last staff gauge is about 20cm above the water but too dirty to read and too far to clean with a stick. I should bring the scratchy pad on a pole.

We left at about 17:00 PST and drove home in the dark
