Author: Daphne Szutu
Others: Arman
Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, unusually still, high tide
2024-11-19 Hill Slough Arman and I arrived at 16:10 PST. It was cold, mostly overcast, and weirdly still. We had some rain last week and storms coming in tomorrow and Friday. It was near high tide and the water surface was unusually still. The staff gauge read 6.4ft at 16:29 PST. I downloaded met, cam, and USB GHG data. The reservoir was 90% full; Arman refilled it. He cleaned flux and rad sensors and cleaned a little detritus out of the precip bucket. I took surface and porewater conductivity measurements. Porewater, 8.21mS, 13.3C Surface, 8.38mS, 12.0C The 7500 read: 433ppm CO2, 336mmol/m3 H2O, 12.1C, 101.9kPa, 99SS - 100 after cleaning The 7700 read: 2.2ppm CH4, 55RSSI - 78 after cleaning We left at 16:30 PST. |
