Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, some green tules coming up
| 2022-03-31 West Pond Joe and I arrived at 14:50 PDT. It was a sunny, warm, and breezy day. The water level has come down a bit so it’s easier to access the tower. There are a few green tule shoots coming up among the thatch. The staff gauge read 73cm. Joe cleaned flux and rad sensors. I downloaded met, camera, and USB GHG data. I checked the conductivity sensor as part of its routine check every 3 months and confirmed the orifice was clean. The wash reservoir was ¾ full; we topped it off. There were wasps in the reservoir box but they weren’t aggressive. I downloaded the miniDOT data and swapped desiccant for the miniDOT and water level sensors. The upper boardwalk here needs to be replaced but the lower boardwalk feels ok. LI-7500 readings: CO2 412ppm H2O 416ppm T 23.0C P 101.0kPa SS 98--> 98 after cleaning LI7700 readings: CH4 2.0 ppm RSSI 46--> 83 after cleaning We left at 15:05 PDT. |
