Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, herding sheep, swapped 7500 for calibration

Joe and I arrived around 15:25 PDT. We had to go through about 100 sheep and lambs and 2 wire panel fences on the levee road to get to the tower. It was warm and breezy and smelled like a petting zoo. The staff gauge read 44cm.

Joe cleaned flux and rad sensors. I downloaded met, camera, and USB GHG data. I downloaded the miniDOT data and changed the desiccant in the miniDOT and water level sensors. The wash reservoir was 2/3 full; Joe topped it off.

Joe swapped the LI-7500 for calibration: sn 0065 came off and sn 0041 went on the tower. I uploaded a new configuration file and updated the pressure coefficients. I reset the box. The eddy clock was within 1 min of the laptop time so I didn’t adjust it this time.

We left around 16:00 PDT and had to get through the sheep and fences on the way out. Some of the fences were misshapen: the larger sheep were squashing them down as they jumped back and forth among enclosures. A few of the sheep were getting stuck in the fence in their panic to follow the herd. Joe was able to free them from the fence including lifting a small one up and over the fence by grabbing its scruff and wool along its back.
