Summary: First rains earlier this week, swapped 7500, serviced water sensors, water sensor positions.
| Mayberry 2018-10-04 I arrived at 15:00 with Dennis. It was mild with patchy high thin clouds. The wetland is still looking green. Otters had just left the site when we arrived – the boardwalks were all wet and there was fresh poop. The water level was 43cm. Recent light rain left the gas analyzers (especially the 7500) dirty. We swapped the 7500: sn 75H-2669 came off and sn 1594 went on. Dennis lowered the eddy post for the swap and returned it to its position. New spikes were added to the 7500 head. 2669 read: 399.0ppm CO2, 693.6mmol/m3 H2O, 22.5C, 101.3kPa, 102.6SS 1594 read: 413.5ppm CO2, 651.2mmol/m3 H2O, 23.0C, 101.3kPa, 98.8SS The 7700 read: 1.94ppm CH4, 50.0RSSI – 84.9 after cleaning. Lots of wasps in the wash reservoir box – topped off and left the box top open. I serviced the water sensors. New desiccant was added to the miniDots. The fluorometer was cleaned. The top miniDot (sn 1221) and EosGP are about 15cm below the surface, the fluorometer is about 20cm below the surface and the bottom miniDot (sn 1220) and eosGP are about 45cm below the surface.
