Summary: Muddy road. Standard data collection.

Paul and I arrived at 3:30pm. The road was too muddy so we had to trek in. The soils looked generally wetter than normal--probably due to recent rains. There were hundreds of geese flying above and cranes-Paul got some good photos. I downloaded data, took soil respiration, spectral and veg height. I forgot clippers in the car and it was getting dark so I failed to do clip plots. Iâ€™m not sure how good the spectral will be b/c it was beginning to get darkâ€¦Veg was not high enough for LAI. I forgot to write down 7500 readings but everything looked good.

Soil respiration was on average 5 umol m-2 s-1. I stopped the run early by accident on collar 4. I also measured collar 2 first by accident, then collar 1, 3, 4, 5, 6.
