Summary: Sheep in field with flimsy barrier laid over soil CO2 setup. Rad boom rotated 180 degrees and not level. Data download.
| Twitchell Alfalfa 2014-12-10 We arrived at about 11:15 PST. It was overcast and cold. There were sheep in the field. There was a poor barrier constructed out of some mesh material covering the soil CO2 setup. The radiation boom was also rotated inside this barrier and not level. See photo. Nothing seemed broken but some of the probes were out of place. We left the setup as is since the sheep were still in the field. Downloaded data. 7500 readings: CO2 = 635 ppm (460 after cleaning) H2O = 53 mmol m-3 (330 after cleaning) signal strength = 60% (81% after cleaning) p = 101.3 kPa t = 12 C sos = 343.2 m s-1 |
