Summary: Water instruments gunky, cleaned. Tule CO2 probe was floating, replaced in PVC tube. All else well.

Permanent tower
We arrived about 14:00 PST. It was beautiful out, sunny and about 15 °C with a very mild breeze. There was a lot of cottony cattail material all over everything and also a lot of plant gunk floating in the water with considerable algae build-up on the sub-surface instruments. Laurie cleaned these and took water samples while I attended to the tower and downloaded data. Laurie found the CO2 probe in the tules floating on the surface but it seemed okay and showed good readings when she replaced it in the PVC pipe. The new antenna for the wireless system hasn’t arrived yet, so wireless setup will commence next time.

Current 7700 readings:
CH4 = 2.19 ppm
RSSI = 56 (bumped to 85 after cleaning)
The reservoir was full

7500 readings:
CO2: 418.7 ppm
H2O: 373 mmol m-3
agc: 43.8
sos = 342 m s-1

MET looked good.
