Summary: Standard field work, collected soil samples,Vaira PC dead, CO2 profile system fixed, tram reset.

Summary
  1. Checked and downloaded data at Tower, Floor, and Vaira. Swapped memory cards of CR1000s.
  2. PC at Vaira seemed dead. Joe couldn’t restart it in the field. Click sounds. Data were downloaded from datalogger. No data lost.
  3. Joe fixed CO2 profile system.
  4. Tram cart was reset and running well.
  5. Collected soil samples at Tonzi for measuring CO2 diffusivity in the lab.
  6. Collected grass and litter samples for LAI and dry weight.
  7. Read dendrometers
  8. Measured soil moisture
  9. Measure groundwater well:

Vaira_Grass Site
  1. Fence and gate power: 12 v.
  2. Panel and Batteries: - v; - amps; - amps.
  3. PC at Vaira seemed dead. Joe couldn’t restart it in the field. Click sounds. Dada were downloaded from datalogger. No data lost.
  4. Check the fans of air temp. and relative humidity sensors at Vaira. YES!
  5. Check levels of Radiation sensors, clear up surfaces. YES! (by Joe)
  6. Check rain gage, make sure not clogged. YES!
  7. Closed gate and set up fence. YES!

Tonzi_Tower Site

  1. Fence and gate power: 12 v.
  2. Panel and Batteries: - v; - amps; - amps.
  3. Reading from Gillsonic screen before downloading data. (The value of H2O and CO2 should be in the range of 0 – 5 v.)

  3. Reading from Gillsonic screen before downloading data. (The value of H2O and CO2 should be in the range of 0 – 5 v.)
