I arrived about 10:00PDT with Sara, Carina and Cristina. It was warm and sunny with some scattered high clouds and a wind from the west. The wetland still looks very green, but I think the tips of the cattails are turning slightly yellow.

We moved the portable tower from location one to location two. The truck started right up. Before moving the truck I measured the sonic heading: 344 degrees magnetic. At location two we reinstalled the 7700. Its RSSI was 44. After cleaning the mirrors the RSSI was 70. I aligned the sonic to true north.

We swapped the USB drive and collected a configuration file from the LI7550.

At the main tower the girls went out to the Tule Tower and collected some water samples. I collected all the data. The 7700’s RSSI was 57 before cleaning and 85 afterwards.

We left for Twitchell about 11:30PDT.
