Summary: Collected data, collected water samples, water level back to normal.

West Pond

I arrived about noontime PDT with Sara, Carina and Cristina. It was clear, sunny and hot with little to no wind below the canopy. The water level was back to about the normal level. I found the outflow and the water was just spilling over the top board. Both inlets were running near full flow. I did not check the inlets or outlets in the east pond, but the water was just below the boardwalks.

Ron Amundson was there showing some relatives the delta. Sara talked to him about our work and they walked the boardwalks in the east pond.

We collected all the data. The 7700’s RSSI was about 60 so I did not clean the mirrors.

I measured the water level in relation to the post where the water sensors were hung before we moved them last week. The top on the post was 66cm above the water. I pushed the tape measure into the water until it stopped. At that point the top of the post was at 106cm.

Cristina took water samples.
