Summary: New battery for the truck, moved truck to location one, Photo shoot with DWR.

I arrived about 8:30 with Dennis and Jaclyn. It was clear and sunny with a west wind. It started cool, but warmed quickly. Not much change in the vegetation, the cattails are still heavy with seed and flower. Jaclyn and Dennis said there was a blow down in the cattails near the tule tower.

Bryan Brock was there with a camera crew for the DWR Magazine. We had our photos taken at the main tower.

At portable tower Location two, we installed the new battery in the truck and it work perfectly. We shut things down, removed the LI7700, and moved the truck to Location one. The truck is about 5 or 6m north of its usual spot in Location one. We reinstalled the 7700 and cleaned its mirrors. Before cleaning the RSSI was 29, afterwards it was 72. I did not align the sonic. Need to check this next time before moving it.

At the Main tower, everything was okay. The LI7700 RSSI was 23 before cleaning and 84 afterwards. We topped off the wash reservoir and filled the spare jug of DI at the site.

Dennis and Jaclyn went to the Tule tower and checked the sensors there. Jaclyn said the door to the data logger box was open so she latched it.

I left for Sherman about 10am, Dennis and Jaclyn went with Sara and Carina to Twitchell. I took the CH4 cal tank and wrench to Sherman.
