Summary: Trimmed back vegetation among boardwalk, water level sensor was jostled and has step change
2024-07-17 East End Robert and I arrived at 11:20 PST (12:20 PDT). It was warm and sunny. The tall canopy blocked the breeze while we were the lower level of the canopy, which meant – mozzies. The staff gauge read 77cm. There were goats still hanging out by the well pad, same as our last visit. Robert trimmed back the vegetation around the boardwalk and within the tower structure. I downloaded met, cam, USB GHG, and miniDOT data. The water level sensor had gotten shifted on 2024-07-01 by about 30cm. I think it’s ok for now, still more than 50cm below the water so I don’t think we need to change it back anytime soon. I swapped the desiccant for the miniDOT and water level sensor. I checked the conductivity sensor as part of its routine check every 3 months and it looked ok. Robert cleaned flux and rad sensors. The reservoir was 80% full; we refilled it. We measured the surface water conductivity. Sample, temperature-compensated conductivity, temperature Surface, 182.0 uS, 18.0 C The 7500 read: 418ppm CO2, 663mol/m3 H2O, 26.5C, 101.5kPa, 94SS – 96 after cleaning The 7700 read: 1.98ppm CH4, 42RSSI – 76 after cleaning We left at 11:50 PST (12:50 PDT). |
