Kyle, Mel, and I arrived at 15:25 PDT. Mel is a new grad student in Iryna’s lab interested in mammal/bird benefits from wetland restoration projects. It was sunny, hazy, and quite windy. The corn plants are completely dry and harvest is planned for next week, according to Charlotte’s famer connection Delfino. Not much construction traffic on our side of the overpass today.

Mel cleaned flux and rad sensors. The 7500 was unusually dirty. Kyle topped off the wash reservoir. I downloaded met, cam, USB GHG, PA, and IRT data.

The rotating shadowband was not working here either. I pushed the band and it started spinning, but we should prep a spare motor.

Mel and Kyle cleaned out the precip bucket funnel because it was clogged with bird poop.

We swapped the 7500A for calibration: sn 0418 came off and sn 0042 went on. I uploaded a new config file, updated the pressure coefficients. There was a 7700 time error, so I changed the eddy clock +20se around 14:45 and reset the box. All looked ok.
