Summary: Standard data collection, spider webs on the eddy sensors, plants are getting tall
East End 2025-06-27 Kyle and I arrived at about 13:50 PDT. The outer gate was closed but the combo lock was open and it appears the same combo is still good. It was clear, hot and sunny with a little breeze. The reeds are very tall again and it feels like walking through a tunnel to reach the tower. I started to collect the met, flux and camera data and Kyle helped with the miniDot, salinity and water level before cleaning the eddy sensors and radiometers. There were lots of spider webs on the eddy sensors making the RSSI noisy. The 7500 read: 414.0ppm CO2, 675.6mmol/m3 H2O, 32.9C, 100.9kPa, 97.6 The 7700 read: 2.05ppm CH4, 36.7RSSI - 78.7 after cleaning We refilled the wash reservoir. I think we did not swap the desiccant in the miniDot. The water level was 71cm and the conductivity was Surface, 205uS, 17.2C I put some moth balls in the data logger box to discourage the few ants I saw poking around. We left at about 14:05 PDT |
