Summary: Regular data collection, foggy, blow down of vegetation

Arrived at 11:20. It was cold and foggy, visibility was starting to increase but still low.
A lot of the cattails in East Pond have been blown down by the wind. In some areas in East Pond ‘canopy height’ is down to water level. The site looks very different now. The tower and solar panels are visible from quite a distance down the road where they used to be completely hidden by vegetation.
West Pond has not changed quite as much, but the vegetation has also been blown over in some places and across the wetland canopy height has been significantly reduced. The water level at West Pond was fairly high, almost at the level of the small board walk in front of the tower.

We filled the wash water reservoir, it was empty. We didn’t have much water left so we only filled it about 2/3 of the way since we needed some more water for MB and SW.

Collected USB GHG data, collected met data and camera pictures. All looks good. Cleaned radiation sensors, cleaned EC sensors.
The LI7500 and LI7700 had a lot of water on their windows from the fog. This is why the CO2 and H2O readings were off when we first connected. The readings improved after cleaning.

LI7500 readings:
CO2 599.04 → 465.93
H2O 165.1 → 446.7
T 8.44
P 101.75
SS 77.76 → 107.43

LI7700 readings:
CH4: 2.9 → 3.05
RSSI: 2.9 -> 56.7 after cleaning
Left at 11:50.
