Summary: Standard field work, still looks brown

West Pond
2013-04-11

I arrived about 12:30 with Laurie. It was clear warm and windy though not as windy the less protected rice field. The tule and cattails are still very brown but there are tops of tules poking up here and there.

The inlets were running but the water level was a little low exposing the top of the CO2 probe. Laurie took water samples for Cristina.

I collected data and all looked well. The 7700 read 1.88ppm CH4 with an RSSI of 26.7 that rose to 83.5 after cleaning. The 7500 read:
387ppm CO2, 400mmol/m3 H2O, 0.0AGC, 24.49C, 101.50kPa

The 7550 clock is still off and I forgot to adjust it. Next time we need to set it to UTC.

We should also swap the 7700 hat with the one in the lab that has bird spikes on it.

I topped off the 7700 wash reservoir.
