Summary: Tried to change CR1000 program but could not change sonic settings. collected data

DWR-Corn
2013-04-11

I arrived about 1pm with Laurie. It was clean, warm and breezy. The corn field looks largely unchanged though maybe a bit drier. The wind had pushed the upper boardwalk from the north side of the scaffolding to the south side of the scaffolding.

We collected the data and all looked well. The 7500 read:
16.0mmol/m3 CO2, 260mmol/m3 H2O, 101.3kPa, 23.72C, 249diag

After removing the card from the CR1000 I uploaded a new program to the CR1000. The new program is driven by the sonic clock to reduce the number of reading lost due to poor clock synchronization. But when I tried to connect to the sonic to adjust its settings, I could see the data coming in but I could not enter the programming mode. So I reloaded the old program to the CR1000 and put in the new card. The new card took a long time to format. Next time we should bring another RS422 to RS232 converter and maybe another sonic cable to test it.

The auto camera mount and housing is loose most of the bolts need tightening.
