Summary: Installed new solar panel on Tule Tower, adjusted tule cr10x memory allocation with no improvement, collected data

2011-12-14 I arrived about 12:00 with Sara and Silvano. It was clear and sunny and almost perfectly still. The air was cool but the sun and still air made you feel warm. The cattails have yellowed significantly since our last visit three weeks ago. There was a hawk sitting on the autocam when we arrived. New pilings are going up for new wind generators on the hills The 7700 wash reservoir was out of water, we refilled it. The RSSI was 20, cleaning the bottom mirror brought it up to 40 and cleaning the top brought it up to 80. We collected data and swapped cards. The card on the CR1000 took a very, very long time to initialize. This card has had problems in the past and I think I will retire it next time. I put another solar panel on the Tule Tower to replace the one that fell off. The program there is still acting funny and refusing to show the last few input locations. I changed the memory allocation to increase the input and intermediate locations to match the program but that didn't seem to help. I will have to test run the program in the lab to figure out what's wrong. The LED sensor is still not connected to the data logger. |
