I arrived with Jaclyn and Sara about 11:30PST. The fog had just lifted to a sunny day with little or no wind. I was comfortable in a t-shirt. The cattails are beginning to yellow.

When we arrived the LI7700 reservoir was almost empty and RSSI was about 20. After cleaning the mirrors the RSSI was 69. We tried to check the calibration of the LI7700. I put the hood on the 7700 and ran zero air through it. I watched the value on the CR1000. It got down to about 10ppb - not as good as I expected. I tried to run a span gas but didn't have the correct regulator. Try again next time.

We swapped the HMP45 for another with a longer cable and extended the fan cable. This allowed the HMP45 to be remounted in it original location just below the LI7500 head.

We collected data and swapped cards.

At the Tule Tower we found the solar panel bottom of the pond. Its mount had broken and dangled in the wind until its wire finally broke. The battery was still above 12V so I'll fix the panel correctly in the lab before reinstalling it.

Jaclyn added the conductivity sensor to the data logger and multipexor. It was partly working but giving a zero conductivity. The CR10x program was also acting strange in that it would not display four new input channels for an LED sensor. This program has over 80 input locations and might need it memory adjusted for that many channels. I copied the *A and *B stats.

I mounted and LED sensor (LED-5) on the boom over the tules. But because of the problems with the CR10X program, did not connect it to the data logger.

Sara spliced a longer wire on the Tule SHF plate and that was connected to the data logger.

Sara collected water samples.
