Summary: Alfalfa mowed but not raked/baled, windy day

2024-05-01 Bouldin Alfalfa Joe and I arrived at 13:15 PST (14:15 PDT). It was warm with hazy horizons and a strong wind from the north. There were just a few cirrus clouds in the lower 1/3 band of
the sky. The alfalfa has been mowed but not yet raked or mowed. The windrows were very flat and sounded crispy when we walked on them. Joe trimmed all of the alfalfa under the tower and pulled up the
weeds. I downloaded met, cam, USB GHG, and FD data. I changed the eddy clock +1min from 13:25 to 13:26 to match the laptop time and restarted logging. I cleaned flux and rad sensors and took spectral
measurements. The veg height was 0. The 7500 read: 420ppm CO2, 167mmol/m3 H2O, 25.7C, 101.3kPa, 99SS—103 after cleaning We left at 13:45 PST (14:45 PDT). They usual exit gates were open.
