Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, levee roads have been mowed, trimmed willow back
| 2023-05-17 West Pond Robert and I arrived at 11:15 PDT. It was warm, sunny, and we could hear the breeze, but the tall canopy blocked us from feeling it. The rice fields have something green growing and here the tules are starting to peek out from the thatch. The interior levee roads have been mowed. The staff gauge read 62cm. I downloaded met, cam, USB GHG, and miniDOT data. Robert cleaned flux and rad sensors. I topped off the wash reservoir. The willows have fully leafed out and Robert trimmed back some of the taller branches on the closest one to prevent it from shading the radiometers. We dumped the branches by the side of the road. The 7500 read: 430ppm CO2, 590mmol/m3 H2O, 27.0C, 101.3kPa, 100SS after cleaning The 7700 read: 2.01ppm CH4, 89RSSI after cleaning We left at 11:55 PDT but stopped by briefly half an hour later to get the toolbox that we had accidentally left on the platform. |
