Summary: Just after a few days of rain water everywhere. Standard data collection, fence charger not so good, went to the pond, Delta laptop.

I arrived at about 11:00. It was clear and sunny but there was an icy wind from the northwest. It has been raining for the last few days - there is water pooled and running everywhere. The grass is denser but not any taller and maybe a little yellowed by some recent freezing weather.

I measured the well and collected the flux, met, camera and FD data. The usual laptop died a few days ago in the lab so I’m using the Delta laptop. It has all the Tonzi/Vaira settings so collecting the data went smoothly. I only needed to be a little careful about selecting the period of data to download. All seemed well. There was water on the 7500 windows but after cleaning:
The 7500 read: 432.7ppm CO2, 285.4mmol/m3 H2O, 13.0C, 99.3kPa, 102.5SS

The fence charger doesn’t seem to be working very well. I’m not sure if it’s the battery or the charger – might be both. Swap it out next time.

I went to the pond. The stream was about as high as I have ever seen it but not a problem for a truck. The road was okay. The pond was over flowing.

I left at about 12:00 noon.
