Summary: Still damp, pond CR10x lost its program - fixed, cows about.

I arrived at about 11:00 am. It was clear sunny and warm with a cool breeze from the northwest. The grass has not grown much still just a short green carpet. There was a bunch of cows (one might even say a herd) standing around the road near our site and they didn’t pay me any attention. Still lots of surface and standing water in the surrounding area and people out cutting up fallen trees. Snow very visible in the Sierras today.

I measured the well and collected the flux, met, camera and FD data.
The 7500 read: 447.2ppm CO2, 423.4mmol/m3 H2O, 22.8C, 100.9kPa, 102.4SS
I think the thermistor was in the sun – actual air temperature was more like 10C.

All looked well. I checked to make sure that grass wasn’t growing inside the FD chambers – I think all the seeds have been spent, nothing growing.

I went to the pond. The road was firm enough for a two wheel drive truck. The pond is still topped up. The CR10x there had lost its program for some reason – I guess power could have failed. I didn’t have a copy of the program with me but using the hot spot on my phone I could remote desktop from the field laptop to my computer in the lab and retrieve a copy. Reloading the program seemed to work.

I left at about 12:15
