Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, cold and breezy
2023-02-14 Hill Slough Carlos and I arrived at 10:05 PST. It was clear and cold with a cold breeze and a few wispy clouds. Water level was high-ish and the staff gauge read 5.68ft at 10:15 PST. We sampled water from the porewater sipper to measure for conductivity later. It will be stored in the fridge for now. Sample, temperature-compensated conductivity, temperature, notes Porewater, 18.57 mS,, Sample stored in fridge before being measured When we arrived, there was a bird watcher with a huge lens parked near our usual spot, but he had left by the time we wrapped up so I didn't get a chance to ask what cool birds he had seen. I downloaded met, cam, and USB GHG data. Carlos cleaned rad and flux sensors and topped off the wash reservoir. I changed the eddy clock +45sec from 10:12:25 to 10:13:10 and restarted logging. The 7500 read: 420ppm CO2, 211mmol/m3 H2O, 10.6C, 102.0kPa, 101SS -- 102 after cleaning The 7700 read: 1.97ppm CH4, 39RSSI – 70RSSI after cleaning We left at 10:20 PST. |
