Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, cold and breezy, swapped out HMP45 for newer Hygrovue10
2023-02-14 Gilbert Tract Carlos and I arrived at 16:45 PST. It was now mostly sunny with patchy clouds, although still cold and breezy. The staff gauge read 28cm at 17:17 PST. We started at the main tower. I downloaded met, cam, and USB GHG data. Carlos cleaned flux and rad sensors. The HMP45 here has been maxing out on RH frequently last winter, so Ari requested that we swap it. We removed HMP45 sn W0730036 and installed Hygrovue10 sn E3452. I used Terminal Emulator to check the SDI-12 address of the sensor, which was 2. I updated the CR1000 program to comment out the HMP45 instructions and add the Hygrovue sensor. After updating the program, AirT=10.08C and RH=44.37%. The 7500 read: 428ppm CO2, 301mmol/m3 H2O, 12.9C, 101.3kPa, 103SS --> 103 after cleaning The 7700 read: 2.07ppm CH4, 63RSSI –> 84 after cleaning. We went on to the channel around 17:25. The water level was relatively low and was dark in color but not turbid. There were a lot of ripples on the surface from the brisk wind. I downloaded data from Flo, reset the clock to sync with the laptop clock, and restarted logging. There were actually no drops in depth data from the last 2 weeks. We left at 17:35 PST. |
