Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, added Arable Mark II, added rad cal kit, trimmed back willows along road
2021-06-22 West Pond Dennis, Ariane, and I arrived at 13:55 PDT. It was a warm day with good visibility and a cool breeze. Dennis trimmed back the willows on the levee road leading up to the tower as well as the reeds around the tower. The staff gauge read 53cm. I downloaded met, camera, and USB GHG data. Ari cleaned flux and rad sensors. The wash reservoir was mostly full. We added a Arable Mark II sn C006322 and its own personal solar panel to the rad boom. This Arable was originally at Bouldin Alfalfa for the Arable-PL comparison and Arable agreed that we could move it to a wetland site. I pressed the white button on top for 3 seconds and watched the LED lights blink in a circle. Next time I need to add a 5-minute data table to the met datalogger program that we can send to Arable for their intercomparison. We set up the rad cal kit we had just removed from Hill Slough. We set up all the reference sensors on the rad boom, secured the cables with cable ties, and screwed the datalogger enclosure into the upper boardwalk. I connected to the datalogger and the numbers looked reasonable. Datalogger and sensors installed as part of the rad cal kit.
