Dennis, Ariane, and I arrived at 10:20 PDT. It was a windy and sunny day with good visibility and there were some clouds on the northern horizon. The pickledweed around the tower is sparse but reaching the height of last yearâ€™s litter. North and south of the tower, there are patches of vegetation that are denser and brighter green.

Dennis took spectral measurements and picked up a piece of peat. He thought the soil looked wet and that the water level had started coming up, but I didnâ€™t see any change from the water level sensor.

Ari and Dennis cleaned the flux and rad sensors. The wash reservoir was mostly full; we topped it off.

I downloaded met, camera, and USB GHG data. I downloaded the FD data and cleared its memory. I downloaded the rad cal kit data and it looked ok, so Ari and I removed the rad cal kit to move on to the next intercomparison site, WP.

We left at 10:50 PDT.
