Summary: Regular data download/cleaning, 7550 time sync error, first site visit in 3 weeks

Mike and I arrived at 13:40 PDT. It was a sunny, mild, and breezy day. The wetland was still mostly brown, but there is some greenery poking up. The water level was 21 cm. It has been dry recently, but itâ€™s expected to rain for 3 days starting tomorrow. This is the first site visit in 3 weeks. The Bay Area is on the third week of COVID-19 shelter-in-place orders, with at least 4 more weeks to go.

I downloaded met, camera, USB GHG, and miniDOT data. I did not swap the miniDOT desiccant because it was still dark blue. The wash reservoir was 1/3 full; we refilled it. I cleaned flux and rad sensors.

There was no initial time sync error in the 7550 interface. I then checked the GHG columns (had some problem with 7700 columns last time). The columns seemed fine, but when I returned to the main 7550 interface, there was a constant time sync error symbol displayed. I reset the box, then there was a flickering time sync error symbol. I checked the 7500 and 7700 clocks and synched them with the laptop time. 7500 was correctly set to master and 7700 was correctly set to slave, so Iâ€™m not sure why the clocks were different. I set the 7500 time from 13:10 to 13:07; I set the 7700 time from 13:04 to 13:07. I reset the box a final time, and there was no time sync error symbol. Iâ€™m not sure what this means for the data that the 7500 and 7700 clocks were 6 minutes apart.
