Mike and I arrived at 10:30 PDT. It was a sunny day with some cirrus clouds. It was cool and windy. It has been dry recently, but itâ€™s expected to rain for 3 days starting tomorrow. This is the first site visit in a month. The Bay Area is on the third week of COVID-19 shelter-in-place orders, with at least 4 more weeks to go.

The red gate by the overpass was open, so we drove right up to the tower. The gate has a combo lock which was locked. The combo from last year did not work to open it, so I donâ€™t know what the current combo is. Separately, Bruce in his yellow truck and the farmer in the red truck drove by and waved while we were there.

They have plowed most of our field. They plowed a section of our leftover-corn area, but other than that they made a wide berth around our tower and Tylerâ€™s chambers. They were plowing the field to our N while we were there. Tyler texted Ben, who said theyâ€™ll be planting in â€œabout three weeks.â€ Tyler and I will plan to go out at the end of next week (around April 17) to pull our chambers/ground sensors.

I downloaded met, camera, USB GHG, PA, and FD data. The FD chambers connected fine, although I think last time there were issues. When I got back to the lab, I realized I had skipped one chamber (downloaded one chamber twice). I did not clear any FD data, so all the data should be there next time in 2 weeks. I cleaned flux and met sensors. The wash reservoir was 4/5 full; we refilled it.
