Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, collected miniDOT/HOBO, many wasps in wash reservoir box, first rains last week
| 2018-11-28 East Pond Kyle, Kuno, and I arrived at 12:45. It was alternating foggy and sunny and mostly mild. The wetland was 80% brown. The inlet was off, and the water level was 69 cm. It has been raining in the past few days and a large storm is expected later that night. Kuno downloaded the met, camera, USB GHG, miniDOT, and HOBO data. Kyle cleaned the flux and rad sensor. We had to try a few times to download the picam photos (closed internet window too soon, laptop battery died) before successfully downloading it. After downloaded the picam photos, we unzipped the folder, checked all the photos were there, and cleared the camera’s data. We left a mothball in the met box. There were a lot of wasps in the wash reservoir box, so we left it open after refilling it. LI-7500 readings: CO2 413ppm H2O 685ppm T 17.2C P 101.3kPa SS 96--> 98 after cleaning LI7700 readings: CH4 2.1ppm RSSI 11--> 70 after cleaning We left at 13:50. |
