Summary: Regular data collection/cleaning, fixed 7700 clock sync error, first rains last week
| 2018-11-28 Sherman Wetland Kyle and I arrived at 9:55. Kuno was at Sherman Barn, servicing the Picarro. It was partly foggy and party sunny and overall mild. There were 2 raccoons crammed under Patty’s AC unit who stayed there for most of the time we were there. The wetland was about ½ brown. The water level was 59 cm. We noticed an oily sheen on the water around the tower. Kyle cleaned the flux and rad sensors. The wash reservoir was ½ full; he refilled it. He also de-clogged the rain bucket, which is missing its screen. I downloaded met, camera, USB GHG, and miniDOT data. I left a mothball in the met box. In the 7550 software, the 7700 had a clock sync error. I set the 7700 clock back to automatic setting, disconnected the 7700 in the 7550 software, and reset the 7550 box. This fixed the clock sync error. LI-7500 readings: CO2 462ppm H2O 760ppm T 14.9C P 101.2kPa SS 95--> 98 after cleaning LI7700 readings: CH4 2.9ppm RSSI 30--> 77 after cleaning We left at 10:25. |
