Summary: Soil sampling campaign (aug) part I

We arrived around 10.20am.

We took 2 transects (T1 and T2) of 5 soil samples (P1 nearest - P5 furthest from the tower) each from 0-15cm depth with a smaller subsample taken for microbial analysis 5m apart heading directly west (T1) and southwest (T2) starting roughly around 7m away from the tower (i.e. after the big open pond section by the solar panels).

Other notes: T2P5 was taken from the more uniformly vegetated area to the west. Other samples were mostly from fairly open water areas near clusters of veg.
A metal spoon was lost in the water...

We left around 10:50 am.
