Summary: Soil sampling campaign (aug) part I
| We arrived around 13:00. We took 2 transects (labelled T1 north one and T2 south one) of 5 soil samples (P1 nearest - P5 furthest to the tower) each from 0-15 cm, 15-30cm, and 30-60cm with a smaller subsample taken for microbial analysis to the west from the tower at around 5m intervals starting roughly 5m away from the tower. Other notes: the soil was very dry. We left around 13:40(?). |
