Summary: Helped Ameriflux set up site comparison. All well.
| Mayberry 2014-09-08 Permanent Tower We arrived at the permanent tower with the first part of the Ameriflux group (BADM) right around 10:15 PDT just as Sebastien, Stephen, Allie, and Alex arrived to setup the Ameriflux site comparison. I helped with the Ameriflux site setup while Patty checked the tower readings and then went around to the rest of the sites with the BADM folks. The BADM folks took lots of pics and made some measurements from the tower to various Met instruments. Checked readings but didn’t write them down. All was well. 7700 reservoir was ¾ full Met looked good. Cleaned rad. Portable Tower All seemed well. We only checked the flux instrument readings. Readings CO2: 398 ppm (after cleaning) H2O: 610 mmol m-3 (after cleaning) signal strength = 91.3% (91.8% after cleaning) t: 22.2 °C p = 101.1 kPa sos = 344 m s-1 CH4: 1.9 ppm RSSI: 51% (67.7% after cleaning) |
