Summary: Alfalfa mown. Regular fieldwork. Checked weird readings from soil CO2 system but seemed fine.

Patty arrived at about 13:30 PDT with the Ameriflux BADM folks. It was very windy and sunny. The Alfalfa has been mown but not baled. The field to the east was not completely mown yet. The Ameriflux folks clipped the remaining alfalfa under the rad boom. Did spectral. Later, Patty and I returned to the site to check out the soil CO2 system. The readings all seemed very low. But we pulled the probes out and read what we thought seemed reasonable for atmospheric concentrations. Replaced profile B 8cm sn K1340006 with sn F4960018.

H2O = 560 mmol m-3

t = 36.1 C
sos = 348.8 m s-1
