Summary: Rice harvested and chopped. Data download. All well.
| Twitchell Rice 2013-10-02 We arrived about 11:15 PDT. It was sunny and warm (22 C) with a light breeze. The field has been harvested and the remaining portion of the rice plants chopped down to golden nubs. We all attended to the tower and downloaded data. 7500 readings: CO2 = 397 ppm (400 after cleaning) H2O = 420 mmol m-3 (385 after cleaning) signal strength = 85.6% (87.0% after cleaning) t = 25.1 C p = 102 kPa sos = 347.6 m s-1 7700 readings: CH4 = 1.9 ppm (same after cleaning) RSSI = 39% (72% after cleaning) Reservoir was 4/5 full. Topped off. MET data looked good considering ground sensors were coiled under the tower. Cleaned solar. |
