We arrived about 13:00 PDT. It was sunny, warm (25 C), and breezy. The alfalfa has been mowed, but not baled. [Joe: autocam shows the field was mowed between 9-22 and 9-24.] We brought Franks auger with us to continue digging the water table well. We got down to about 1.5 m with still no water, stopping so that the PVC tube still extended about 10 cm above the surface. We also brought Franks water pressure sensor to install, but decided against it since we hadnt reached the water table. Consensus upon return was to monitor the well for signs of water table increase as they flood the new wetland nearby, and install the water pressure sensor if the water table rises into the range of the well.

Patty did spectral while Sara clipped the unmowed alfalfa around the radiation boom and I downloaded data.

7500 readings:
CO2 = 387 ppm (396 after cleaning)
H2O = 450 mmol m-3 (435 after cleaning)
SS = 75.2% (76.6% after cleaning)
T = 25.9 C
p = 101.7 kPa
sos = 348.4 m s-1

7700 readings:
CH4: 1.88 ppm (same after cleaning)
RSSI: 34% (72% after cleaning)
Reservoir was empty refilled to 2/3.

MET looked good.
Radiation looked good.
Cleaned radiation sensors.
Downloaded data.
