I arrived about 11:30 with Dennis, Jaclyn and Sara. It was sunny and warm with a breeze from the west. The sky was a little hazy. The field is dryer, but still wet in low places. The farm crew was trying to pump water out of the puddles. It didn’t look like they had tractors in the field yet. Jim pulled our ground sensors and rotated the radiation boom sometime after the 9th. Jim also said the generator was down on the 9th.

When we arrived all was dead – no power. The generator was down and I had previously disconnected the solar panels from the 12V system in favor of a 12V supply off the AC. After reconnecting the solar panels, the charge controller didn’t seem to be using the solar power to charge the system. The charger controller reported 0A from the panels. After disconnecting, reconnecting and generally fussing around it started working again.

Just before we left the solar system read 13.8V, 8.9A solar, 2.0A load.

The netbook in the box was out of battery so data was collected on the field netbook.
